Preschool Programme
Our Beliefs
We respect and appreciate the unique personality and individual learning style of each and every child. We work in partnership with families to provide a safe, happy learning environment for each child. Our highly trained and experienced staff integrates individual programme plans into a rich and warm child-focused setting.
Team Teaching
We use a team teaching approach in our preschools. This means that all classroom teachers work together to create nurturing and stimulating environments for all children of all abilities. If families have a concern or information to share regarding their child, they should feel free to talk to any classroom teacher. This information will be shared among the teachers and will remain confidential.
The Value of Play
A frequently asked question is "Do you teach the children, or do they just play?" Through play, children learn to make sense of their world, and gain skills, which they will use for the rest of their lives, including co-operation, problem solving, and turn taking. Children learn pre-academic skills such as sequencing, matching, pre-writing and early letter recognition within their preschool day.
Our Programme
Langley Child Development Centre operates an inclusive classroom, licensed to serve up to 20 children between the ages of 3 and 5 years. For more information or to register, please contact The Variety Preschool in Murrayville at 604-534-1155 ext 138.
