Child & Youth Programmes
Vision Statement "Life is a great big canvas and you should throw all the paint on it you can!"
~ Danny Kaye
We sincerely hope that the canvas painted by the children in our community represents all of the colours in the rainbow and that those colours are depicted in all of their diverse glory.
Belief
The Child and Youth Programme believes that all children and youth who require extra support deserve the opportunity to participate with their peers in social-recreational programmes that are safe, relaxing, creative, and natural. The programme also believes in a parental involvement in their child's ongoing growth and development and that community partners help to enrich those experiences. This is why we are In-C.Y.N.C. (Children and Youth Networking in Community).
History
Langley Children's Society was incorporated by parents in June 1975. Since that time, the Society has grown from its original one room Preschool and expanded services to over 400 children and youth, aged birth to 19 years
